Yea, with shipping the full powerblock set is a $1,000. You don't have to get it all at once though. You can just by the stage one. Then you can get stage 2 and 3 at different times. Then it isn't so bad. It's almost as convenient as a rack of dumbbells, use less space than even plate loaders, and the cost is a lot more than plate loaders, but WAY less than a whole rack of dumbbells.

The stand is extra. I just use cinder blocks though. Two cinder blocks under each is perfect. I got some Platemate maganetic micro weights for more granularity. Don't use them for pressing though as they may fall off on you.
