feel free to name everything you know. a fellow has injured his wrist and can't use one of his wrists for about 4 weeks. any chances to work out seriously with this injury?
edit: it is clear that he can do some leg exercises. more interesting are possible exercises for upper body.

Re: exercises without pressure on wrist
"pressure on wrists" is pretty generic. The loads specific to an overhead press vs. a curl vs. an internal rotation are hugely different. You could always just tie a theraband to his forearms…
Re: exercises without pressure on wrist
he should not use his injured arm at all. the theraband idea is good!
Re: exercises without pressure on wrist
Well that obviously mean nothing were the weigth is in your hands. Aka almost everything. Very limited band work for upper body is left. The tons of leg work.
Re: exercises without pressure on wrist
Tons of one armed stuff - good arm of course and tons of leg work. If he has access to a SS yoke bar, have him keep squatting. Four weeks is minimal time off.

Re: exercises without pressure on wrist
Many of the old school Nautilus upper body machines didn't require the exerciser to grab a handle for usage, but these machines have disappeared. Modern machines haven't followed the design - even pullover and pec deck machines are hard to find. Too bad
I agree with Hoosegow - 4 weeks isn't that long a time to wait (except for us exercise addicts
). Better for your friend to take the time off and concentrate on getting well.

sounds like it's the best time for him to do a lot of cardio and drop some pounds. maybe some core work is also possible.
