Are we talking about a menopausal woman who's never exercised (or not recently), or a woman with years of training experience who just hit menopause? What are her goals?

Age and fitness appropriate exercise programming.

So, the real issues are age and current fitness level, not menopause per se. So, yeah, like Ironman says, typical beginners approach, but starting more cautiously and progressing even more slowly than a younger beginner would.
