College Degree Options

Post by GDeVine » Mon Nov 25, 2013 4:33 pm

I've developed a passion for nutrition and fitness over the past few years, and want to go back to school to pursue a B.S. in a related field-- The problem is, I'm having trouble fully understanding certain differences between degrees, and I don't entirely know what I want to do with it. For now, the education would purely be for my own knowledge, and to help me as a personal trainer. Here are my questions:

1) What are the differences between a B.S. in Kineseology and Exercise Science?
2) What degree would you recommend and why?

Any insight into your own experiences would be much appreciated.

You can get any college degree, both do not differ much. Kinesiology is the investigation of human movement and exercise science differs from kinesiology in the aspect of understanding what occurs during exercise, working out and so forth. This implies kinesiology incorporates practice science (you move to work out), yet additionally examines development that doesn't happen during activity, for example, ergonomics (workplace for injury anticipation) or even physical Rehabilitation.
