This looks a little off-topic. Spam is not allowed here.

Oh, yeah. He's already banned, I just forgot to say anything about it here in the tread. The sad part is that I'm sure people who post spam never come back to find out that they're banned or that I've put a big :spam2: emoticon here.

Actually... Spam sushi is sort of ok. Well... it tastes ok. The whole idea is just wrong though.

Kinda think so. Was introduced to it at an Obon festival. I tried it out of curiosity and thought "Wow! Not bad...but just totally wrong!"

When I was a kid, we were poor. Heck, I'm still poor--amazing how things stay the same. Anyway, Spam was inexpensive meat, and we had it often. It's not bad. I'd eat it today, but my wife feels repelled by the idea. Fried. Fried with slices of pineapple (and we didn't even know that Spam is the official state meat of Hawaii), chopped up in stew, etc.

Hmmm... now I want to try it fried with Pineapple! Ever grill it? Or does it not hang together well enough on the grill?

Never tried it. I'd bet it'd work fine.
