want to make a double week

Post by s3v3ns » Fri Apr 11, 2014 3:33 am

Hey guys.
Since it is almost Easter and the whole week is free for me i was thinking that maybe i will really try to kill my muscles during this week.
At the moment i am following this program.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/shortcut-to-size.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have active rest days.
I was thinking that maybe in the mornings i can do some full body exercises or something else. Like on Biceps day i would do some Biceps ladder in the morning, Triceps ladder on chest and tric days and on back i do Pull ups in the mornings etc. I was also thinking that maybe i should do some exercises to better my posture in the mornings ( Front squats etc.)
What do you guys think.

I think the best strategy would be to focus on compound and big movements in the morning with a lower total volume, and then smash the isolation work in the evening workout. So multiple rep ranges and big multi joint movements in the morning, and huge thrasher sets of isolation work in the evening. Keep both workouts in 45 minutes or under. More does not always equal better.

you could absolutely smash it for a week, train like hell every day or whatever, but you should take the week off afterwards

Taking a week off is relative. All it means is don't go balls to the wall. Give your muscles a chance to recover. You can continue low level activity, walking, swimming, sports, or skill work. In fact, it's important to keep doing something.
