I am making this thread hoping for some critique on my form for my hang power cleans. I am not an olympic style lifter but I need something to increase my power. I did power cleans back in 2010 but I remember my form wasn't so good. I am now back into it and hit new PRs on the deadlift, albeit they can be slow reps!
So anyway here is a video of me doing 60kg for 5 reps. I decided not to go heavier/harder until I get a couple sessions training to teach myself performing them and get some feedback on what I'm doing.
I kept my elbows pointing forward and tried to start as high as possible. But I feel as if it doesn't look as good as it should... yet I don't know what it is that's making it so. Am I not starting with the bar close enough to my torso? Do I have to jump up more explosively so that I raise my heels? Any feedback is highly appreciated!
