Forget your pea soup, I want to know if that dehydrator works.

Actually, soup sounds good right about now.

There's at least one rat in our attic. Big noises. We used to jut put the cats up there for a few hours, then no more rat noises for a few weeks. Then we were down to one skinny little cat who loved to kill geckos more than rats, and there are lots of geckos in the attic as well, so she wouldn't do anything about rats. Then she disappeared. So now we need to get a new cat.

Oh, and my wife put a new box of D-Con up there yesterday. The rat moved the box (we don't know where) but is still there. Maybe he's so big that the whole box of D-Con wasn't enough to kill him. And no cumulative affect with that stuff. If it doesn't kill you, you just metabolize it off, and you're as good as new. I guess we'll have to get some traps, but they are so inconvenient.

Life in the jungle isn't ever dull for very long at a time.

Had a Cold Shower this morning due to the Hot water Heater being busted.

It was quite invigorating.

That's good to hear actually as my tenants currently are having hot water issues. Atleast I know they're getting some kind of benefit.

.... I jammed my left index finger between the DB rack and a 46KG DB about 5 weeks ago. It was quite sore but I soldiered on. It's still bothernig me, though. Hurts when I flex it. Doesn't seem to affect my grip on DL's but, i've been 'experimenting' with ammonia recently so, fingers could be hanging off and it wouldn't affect my grip.

I don't really 'know' fingers.... hmmm.... Chiro perhaps?

There are no rat noises in the attic. We think that the route of access between the great outside world to our attic must pass through the back porch, where our large dogs hang out. Yesterday there was a dead rat on the back porch. Coincidences? Perhaps, but if you're a rat, I'd suggest finding an alternate route to our attic.

KPj, I did the same thing a while back. It took ages to get better but got there in the end. At least 4 weeks.

I jammed it in-between joints, it just felt like it was bruised but it was sore for weeks.
