Explosive lifting, isn't that how you develop power (strength x speed) vs strength? That's how I try to lift also and besides, that's what Rippetoe say's unless I read it wrong.

It is. Dr. Squat calls it Compensatory Accelerative Training (CAT). It development the rate at which you can develop and apply the force. This develops the fast twitch muscles which are crutial in power and strength development.

Like Hoosegow said, this is getting way to on-topic.

6 more days until my jaw is unwired. This time next week I will be enjoying taco hell and waiting for my chinese food dinner. May even have some fast food in between.

I really want to eat right now. I'm down 28lbs and have a total lost of 84lbs. I'm still fat... =/ Unfortunately i'm starting to realize I am built like a fat TE and less like a fat lineman. Still got so much more to go. I can't wait to get back to the gym and start lifting. Actually, I really can't wait till I'm unwired so I can eat, and make an appointment to get my knee scoped...FINALLY.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Some people can't be random even when they are supposed to be.

I've been spending the majority of my time at college playing smash bros.

That's a horrible confession, and you're just lucky that I don't know your parents!!!

It is far more difficult to raise a GPA than to lower one. Start high. Then later if you decide that you want a lower GPA you will have an easy task.

You need to start playing Smash Sisters if you know what I'm saying.

Scottish people can't say "Carl". It has to be pronounced, "Carol".
