I would guess the mosquito.

On a random note, the drill slipped while I was building my squat box and I managed to put a screwdriver bit through the middle of my thumbnail, lots of blood, felt great too. (':violent1:')

Of the larger species ... It's a tossup between the river hippo and the nile crocodile. Both kill a LOT of people every year, although crocodiles are more numerous.

You may be right, although there are also tetse flies and a number of nasty parasites.
