now I KNOW you won't have heard this Stu, but I think you might like it. Something a bit different.

the quality's not great on the video unfortunately, but the only other video for it I could find was a vaguely homoerotic advert for the TV show Supernatural

beautiful little song, and a great example of the downtempo drum n bass that was popular in the UK in the 90s

That was where John Belushi got his version for the Blues Brothers first movie.

One of my first blues records was Taj's first album which contained Statesboro Blues, which inspired the Allman Brothers to record their version.

that was where I first heard it. That's one of my favourite movies of all time. James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, John Lee Hooker and Ray Charles all in one movie!

I credit that movie with being a huge influence on my music taste

right Stu, see what you think of this. Guy's called Maverick Sabre, weirdest voice ever but uses it really well. Comes worryingly close to rapping at times but you'll love the vocal work in the chorus

I decided to post the live version because I think it's actually a little better than the album version. Says a lot about his vocal strength that does. No auto-tune here...

that's actually not too surprising, a lot of the music coming out of London these days has a very heavy Jamaican/Reggae influence due to it coming from areas like Brixton that have a strong Jamaican cultural link.

Quite funny how all the white kids talk in patois accents...
