I had like 12 hardboiled eggs once in a row...never do that!

I eat hard boiled eggs every day on the way to work. I'll usually eat 5 whites plus a whole egg. I tend to eat a lot of saturated fat, which is why I've cut back on eating all the yolks. But since eggs are cheap at the wholesale stores, I'll buy three or four dozen and boil them on the weekend.

Just don't eat junk food. Most good stuff in its natural state should be consumed -- nuts, fruits, some grains, etc. I eat fat-reduced cheese now, cuz I love my cheese.
Note on protein and carbohydrate: The other morning, I had lowfat yogurt and pineapple and waited a half hour. Then I had a bowl of oatmeal. An hour later, I had the most energy I could hope for in the gym. Moral: do your big protein AFTER the workout, and then sit around for hours as it wends its way through your digestive system.
