Notes: No energy, and over a week off....did better than I thought I would. No loss of strength and actually went up in weight on some things. New high weight on pulldowns. My back is feeling better....almost didn't work out today, but $h1t...its been a week already. If I were to feel any tweakage....I was going to stop.....no tweakage.
Damn elbow sleeves.....lol. I should take a picture of my arm....red and bruised just above the crease of my elbow.....and talk about uncomfortable....hands felt like they were going numb. May have been a waste of money....

Last post of mine was almost exactly 8 years ago. I'm considering going to the gym for the first time...this journal took place in my garage...I don't like people - lol
I see the forum has really died...sad to see.

JPS, I'm glad you're getting back to fitness. When Tim died, most of the rest lost interest. I sent you a link to the facebook group. Send me an invite. Maybe we can support each other going forward. I need to get back in shape.

TimD? Sorry to hear he passed...I didn't know him at all really, but read this forum religiously, so he was a part of my life years ago.
Thanks Stu...maybe I will post here in my journal just for giggles. Taking the time to write down and post my workouts was part of my ritual, and kept me motivated.

Journal entries start again next week. I’ve been getting acclimated to moving weight again over the past 2 weeks. Doing mostly compound movements and getting my lower back willing to work again. I can’t believe how weak I have gotten.
Edited to add - Thinking of getting starting strength book(s)...which one is best? Newest version?
