I suppose I should introduce myself, as this is my first post here. I am a 21 year old college student from Portland Oregon. I am studying Computer Science and Mathematics, but computers is only my second hobby! I absolutely love weight lifting, and exercise in general. I have been lifting off and on for about three years now, but I've only gotten real serious about it in the past six months.
In the past two weeks I have been focusing on different exercises, and trying my hardest to push myself as close to my one rep max as I possibly can so I have an idea of where I stand.
Bench: I can comfortably bench on a Smith machine anywhere from 225 to 265 about 4 to 5 times.
Curl: I curl 85 about 4 times with a straight bar.
Shrug: Last time I tried to max out my shrug I managed 205 about 7 times.
Single Leg Press: I can do 270 about 10 times, but this is nowhere near my max.
Dips: I do dips after bench most of the time, so I don't have an accurate figure for this... But I can usually do somewhere around 7-10 full dips down to my pecs and back up slow and controlled.
Every day I work out I'll update. Hopefully I can set out a plan for what I want to accomplish over 2010, and maybe a monthly gains sheet or something.
