PT Sales Pro Tip: Education

We educate members, clients and prospects.

Second to educating is repetition of the basics because it’s my job to help them understand how and why they are making progress towards their goals ( or why they are not making progress).

In regards to prospects, I begin to build a relationship that shows value through sharing my expertise.

I’m a big promoter of “self efficacy” with my clients too.

Lastly, how I communicate is also important and the words I use will vary due to individuals’ interest and/or personality.

Bottom line, I always remind them that I can be one of their resource for health and fitness info. There is a ton of misinformation in the media and I want to help them make better decisions.

Regardless if you are just starting to build your business or have a full client base, offering to be a resource can help with retention, growth and referrals.

We want to promote conversation and questions so we can show our value as personal trainers.

Building a business starts by building relationships.
