Finger exercises

Are there any exercises for finger muscles? I have very tiny and weak fingers.

Get some hand grips. You can get them anywhere. You can probably get by with the dept store type if you're weak. Go to http://www.dieselcrew.com/ for definitive information on training your hands and grip.

as an ex-climber I have to recommend the grip master finger strength trainers. they exercise each finger and can be bought at different strengths to suit your current finger fitness. i have included a link below to their website:

obviously these can also be successfully used for weight training tools.
and climbing in general gets your fingers and hands pretty muscley.

you could also try plate pinches

Just grab a stack of plates, how ever much weight you think you can hold and try to hold onto them as long as you can. gradually ad weight as your grip gets stronger.

Don't get cheap grippers, they are USELESS. If you can easily pump out 50 reps while driving a car then its useless. Get Heavy Grip brand or Captains of Crush.

Grip master is awesome!

My fingers got a lot stronger when I began this one:

Standing, allowing dumbbell to roll down fingers, roll it back up and curl wrist. In other words, DB wrist curls.

The hex dumbell holds look best to me, as you have wider grip. In kung-fu we do finger exercises without weights. Hard to explain, but with arms out straight in front of you, palms facing down, bring your hands in towards your chest while closing each finger, one at a time, with index and thumb first, then the rest following. You finished with the fists are closed at your chest, then repeat. It should be done under tension at all times, and pretty soon you should feel your forearms aching - these are the muscles that support the finger grip.

Fingertip press-ups are anotehr one that may help, although I am not sure if they improve grip strength, or just the strength of the fingers, for striking etc.

My finger exercises aren't suitable for this site.......
