Hi! I have been suffering from chronic back pain since I have joined my new IT job. I consulted a doctor and he said that the problem might be in the posture of sitting. I have been taking his medicines for the past three months and doing exercises but can't find any change. One of my friend told me to take the Osteopathy treatment from any nearby clinic in Toronto like the AESM. Does anybody have experience doing it? What about the recovery time?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
This is a bit off topic for this forum, unless the pain is related to exercise. I will say that osteopathy is a well-established modality, perhaps better known in the US than in Canada. Not all osteopaths (doctors of osteopathy, D.O.) do manipulative treatment, so you should ask when you call for the appointment. Other than osteopathic manipulation, osteopaths are considered equivalent to allopaths (M.D.) in all states in the US. They can train in any specialty.
Good luck in finding help!
