Hi dudes,
I need to eat only plants on some days, so I was wondering what is happening if we do exercises if we only have plants in our guts? Are we losing muscles with every repetition we do or are we getting stronger? What would happen if we ate plants for a week and we did exercises normally?
It is strange to me that everyone says that we must eat meat to become stronger and build muscles, but there you have elephants and gorillas that are herbivores and that have many pounds of muscles and bones. I know they have different guts, but are they much different?
How are herbivores big?

How are herbivores big?
I apologize to everyone I've enraged. I'll try to correct myself.

Re: How are herbivores big?
You need protein. The range of the effective dosage is broad.
People are not herbivores. The don't have the digestive system to digest leaves to the same extent. That's why they don't get huge eating grass.

Re: How are herbivores big?
I know that we are not herbivores, but there will be times when I'll only eat plants, so would you advise me to just sit and lay around or do exercises?
(I don't know which tenses I need here, but you can see what I'm trying to tell
)
Maybe the answer is complicated, something like: you can run, but you can't lift weights?

Re: How are herbivores big?
No, you shouldn't sit around. That would cause you to get weak and lose muscle. You just might not grow optimaly without enough protein. Like I said, the effective range is broad. Vegetarians can build muscle. You just need to be reasonable.

Re: How are herbivores big?
I just wanted to add something new to this story about meat.
Well, from what I can see, those bodybuilders just scared us without any reason. Aleksandr Karelin was fasting (Orthodox fasts), and you can see how strong and big he was. We must say that this closes this topic.
Disclaimer: I must say that meat is very important (maybe the most important) food, and that we must eat it. If somebody wants to become a vegetarian, he must know that vegetarianism is a religion.
