I'm looking for some advice regarding neck development exercises and programming. I've looked at the listing of exercises and I think I have a good sense about how to extension and flexion. Rotation, however, I don't see how to do well. Using bands do not appear to be able to provide sufficient stimulus. In fact, without dedicated plate machines (which I don't have access to), I'm struggling to see how to program neck work to actually "bulk it".
Thank you all and be well.

Re: Neck development
I work my traps, and do neck curls (forehead facing ceiling) for 3x50. It certainly makes me sore.
I also vary them so that im not going straight sometimes, but at a angle. ill see how effective this is in the future if i have any gains :).
I add 2.5lbs every week to this movement.

Re: Neck development
You can do a simple neck stretching exercise.
Re: Neck development
You can also do a bridge. Get on your back and just hold your hips in the air with your stoamch in the air also obviously. You should be sitting on your head.
I don't really workout my neck. Alot of people don't actually. I'm just not willing to risk anything.

Re: Neck development
Can you actually grow the neck with hypertrophy-focused weight exercises or is it only calisthenics?
