Power Rack comparisons
I'm looking to buy a power rack for a small exercise room shared by several families. I want a simple one, but care about how well-made it is, how durable. I've been comparing racks on line. I live in Papua New Guinea, and can't exactly run down to the nearest Big5 to see what they have. The internet sites that purport to review exercise equipment mostly don't cover racks. Could I ask some of you to comment on the brands of racks that you own or use at a gym, particularly in regard to how well-made they are? I've been looking at BodyCraft and Body Solid on line, but haven't narrowed the choices yet. Any opinions are welcome.

I own this one, awesome peice of equiptment. Luckily I have a dealer nearby who sells equiptment like this. This one is sturdy, good quality, price is good. I've abused it and it has held up perfectly.

I've got a Bodysolid. It looks identical to Ironmaiden's, and I was testing it, loaded up to 500 lb's, more than I'd ever use these days, and dropped it about three inches onto the safety catch rods. Didn't even budge it. The price that the one IM showed looks to be a great buy. Onother good name is Parabody.

Thanks, but since I'm in Papua New Guinea I won't be tempted to buy anything at Dick's or any other sporting goods store! Whatever I guy, I'll buy it on the net, and have it delivered to a man who packs shipping containers for us, mostly with medical supplies, but he'll ship personal items as well for a small price. Then just a few short months later, we'll have our shiny new rack, or whatever.
