It is 5:27 am on opening weekend of hunting season. Time to get some high quality protein.

Deer season? Whitetails or Mule Deer? Rifle, muzzleloader or bow?

Deer are mighty tasty animals. I don't have it much since the only hunters I know are usually friends of friends or relatives that live out of town. Shooting guns is fun. I never went hunting though. I'm not very outdoorsy and I don't do early mornings.

I've never been hunting either, which is kind of funny considering I enjoy shooting and spend countless hours outdoors hiking, birdwatching and photographing wildlife.

I went shooting for my bachelor party, good times & wife approved.
The only living thing I ever shot was a wood pecker with my BB gun as a pre-teen. I was kinda heart broken, and instead of put the thing out of it's misery, I got my aunts cat. Completely oblivious to the fact that was going to be so much worse for the bird... Yes I can be stupid sometimes.
