Strong Enough?

Post by Jungledoc » Fri Jan 16, 2009 4:50 am

Has anyone read Rippetoe's book Strong Enough? I understand that there is a chapter on older lifters. I can't exactly run down to the corner Barns and Noble to pick up a copy. Is it possible to summarize this chapter in a few sentences?

I haven't read Strong Enough, but I see Mark Rippetoe has an article on older lifters in the Crossfit Journal:

Scroll down to June 2007.

My feeling is that this might be the same article, re-published. Strong Enough? is a collection of essays anyway. Maybe you can buy just that back issue, or even the individual article.

Thanks Peter. I couldn't connect with their secure server to buy the article, and kept getting "bad cert domain" errors. When I tried to get an exception I got a "this is not really the server you think it is" sort of message, and I decided to give up. I wonder if it has something to do with going through an Australian ISP. I guess I'll just buy the book and have it sent to someone who is coming here in the next few weeks.
