Yeah, I was so close, and was able to hold in that position just couldn't go up any farther. So I am determined to count the 3/4's of a rep...

Hmmm.... I think I'll take 10 days off, and maybe I'll be able to pull 335 off the floor!

I don't understand it either...

No complaints though.

Thanks, and good luck with your tests too...

Didn't I read something about you studying somewhere?

I have to ask...what is a Kroc Row?

I've looked, but I just keep finding video of Matt Kroczaleski rowing. Is it any different than a normal one-arm DB row?

From what I understand, you use a lot of momentum to bring up a much heavier weight than you would if you used "strict" rows. And then lower it under control. They rip my Lats up nice. I get the absolute best mind muscle connection from them, even though it's a fairly violent movement. (I think the angle I'm holding the DB makes a difference too.)

But yeah honestly, it's just a row, with some cheat, named after a HUGE super STRONG dude. So it makes me feel cool to say I do them.

What is "fubar"? I'm sorry to hear that your knee has became it, but I don't know what it is. Sounds bad.

Yeah doc I'm smoked.

I think I have the issue narrowed down, but sitting at a desk all day is only hurting me more and more. (Keeping my leg bent is either a major problem, or the way I hold my feet under my chair. I'm getting closer to a solution.)

I have got to get this in order, and I figure it will be a good learning experience.

No! No smoking!

Glad to hear you quit. It's tough, but you can keep it up. Just don't smoke today. Tomorrow, deal with it tomorrow. No smoking today. :)

No I haven't smoked, wanted to today like my life depended on it. Plus my lungs hurt like I've smoked two packs in 18 hours...

Your right. I just keep saying I'll smoke tomorrow. And as long as I keep saying that, tomorrow will never come.

So are you this smart, or have you been addicted to something before?

Maybe it's a sign!

Two questions, the first serious, the other otherwise:
1. How are you doing on not smoking?

2. What do the people from brazil have to do with your squats?

BTW all you volume junkies out there are total freaks. Anything over 8 reps is torture.
One of my MMA buddies does 1000-rep bodyweight squat sets every week. And, uhm, 100+ rep sets of everything else he does.

Just so you know.

And yeah, "wear him out" is basically a useless strategy against him.

You are probably right
Two questions, the first serious, the other otherwise:

I believe today is day 31. I get some zinger cravings around 9pm, and pretty much every second I'm at work. But otherwise I'm good. When I mow the lawn or am driving I have a cigar in my mouth but don't lite it.

That is the thing. At every point the last 31 days I have had a smoke and lighter with me, so I can have one anytime I want. This is hard, but gets a bit easier each day.
2. What do the people from brazil have to do with your squats?
It's from an old joke about GW Bush, I forget other people may not get it...
