The tricep keeps the arm straight, so do the pullover with the bent arm and that should keep the stress on the lats.
Do the straight leg deadlift rather then the classic. The main point of doing it is for hamstrings. It also works your lower back and to a certain extent, your abs. The deadlift is more for if you want to do your back and legs together or work as many muscles as possible in 1 excercise. Also I said straight as opposed to stiff, because not bending at the knees makes the hamstrings work harder.
