Lots of random crap today, but I'll just say I played some tennis. Next week I am gonna try some endurance style circuits for a couple of more months. Give myself a break through the winter perhaps (see aggression thread for reason).

I didn't actually do a workout today. But, I am thinking of trying a couple of circuits a couple days a week instead of weightlifting. I was gonna do one with bodyweight and one with lighter DB/BBs. So here's what I got-
Circuit One
Chins
Hip Thrusts
Push ups
Jumping Jacks
Planks
Circuit Two
Deadlifts (light weight)
Bench Presses
Underhand Chins
Bench Presses
Calf Raises

Did a thirty min "lower body" workout on this playstation 2 game I have called yourself fitness. It's actually a damn good workout- lots of bodyweight stuff (lunges, squats, etc). Course I doubt it's gonna improve my deadlift weight. Hah.
Also rode the bike casually for about 20 mins to the library and back

Ok so today I decided that my circuits will probably be upper body only, cause I am doing lower body circuits basically already. Today I did it for about 20 mins and a 20 min walk. I'll fill in more details tomorrow.

This morning I did an easy as hell cardio workout for 15 mins on my ps2, then I came and did my circuit workout. For 10 mins straight, without any breaks, I did 5 reps of each exercise, then moved on to the next exercise. The four exercises I choose to do were-
pushups
shoulder presses in a lunge position
inverted rows
bodyweight squats.

Had sort of a lazy weekend. It was my girlfriend's birthday. I got her a Wii fit, which she seemed really happy to get. I hope she uses it because it wasn't a cheap game! Heh, and now that I have my own Wii, I realize how much fun it could be to do together if we can. Most people are knocking video game workouts, but I'd take them over "cardio" any day of the week (they are obviously no substitute for strength training). But seeing as how I am trying to take it easy the next couple of months anyway, why the hell not? So anyway, what I did today-
a min 30 "core" workout based off my ps2 video game yourself fitness (embarrassing I know but it actually was sorta intense for my tummy).
went on a 30 min walk before work as well, might do a little swimming afterwards but probably not.

Did a 30 mins "flexibility" workout on my PS2 game (which actually felt pretty darn good), and then walked at the park for about an hour. Good fun.

Did some "interval" runs. I use that term loosely because, well, I'm so out of shape, that intervals for me were walking and then normal jogging for 1-3 mins, then walking again. I did it 5 times tho.
