just to let you guys know, I had my first fasted workout today. Loaded up on BCAAs, coffee and creatine beforehand.


Felt great! Loads of energy in the gym and no loss of strength. Definitely going to keep it up.

The empty stomach helps the stims(caffeine) to work better, I've found.

yeah that probably had something to do with it. I also think I have the tendency to overeat before I go to the gym that makes me sluggish (not to mention quite a bit heavier when I'm doing chins as well haha). It happens because after I've been at uni or work all day I'm starving so when I get home I eat like a horse and am far too full for when I get to the gym.
