Vitamin Shoppe is having their annual sale - buy one, get one at 50%. They have a 32 oz size for $20. I use theirs for that reason - 64 oz is about a 362 day's supply. Buy 4 of them and you'll be just about set for 2 years Doc.

Bumping an old thread to say that I've been taking creatine for about a month now. I really believe that I'm seeing a difference in the gym. Monday I set 3 rep records, and today I went way over my planned reps with weights that were 15 to 20 pounds heavier than they were supposed to be (typing error on spread sheet). I'm seeing it as increased endurance and energy. I expect to see this translate into heavier weights as I am able to train harder and longer.

Sounds good man. I'm also thinking of trying out creatine, wondering whether anyone could help me choose a product? Got a few here; http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... onohydrate" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , obviously I want the cheapest but I don't want crap so, I'm not sure what's best. Also I take it it's best to just have 5g a day? Rather than 20g a day as a loading phase?

As long as you're buying a reputable brand it shouldn't make that much difference. Creatine is creatine after all... Micronized is less of a chore to dissolve.

@ Carlito

I bought mine from MyProtien.co.uk - it comes in a pouch and should be portioned with a scoop. I mix mine with my protein powder every morning. A fraction of the cost of the tablets on Amazon!

I'm a lot more sore than usual this week. I'm thinking that the creatine allows me to go harder than I previously would have, and now I'm feeling the effects of that.
