I remember when…
Putting the big clips on the oly bar was part of the workout (weak grip)

I was excited when…
I could Deadlift my weight for reps

One day soon, I’ll
Bench Press 190 for reps

I can’t wait for the day I
Squat my own weight for 3 reps (I’ll guess that occurs around 255)

Is it asking too much to…
Press 150# for 3 reps some day

snatching 40kg was a scary task because I was new and lifted in a commercial gym.

I was excited when…
I could snatch my own bodyweight (70kg).

One day soon, I’ll
snatch 100kg.

snatch 120kg.

... I did DB exercises on the living room rug, and skipped shoulders and legs most weeks, because it was boring and lunges made me run out of breath ...

... I managed to bench 220 at 165 (honestly, what is with the strange allure of chest exercises).

One day soon, I’ll ...
... recover from this chest infection (and food won't taste so funny - thanks clarithromycin), and my fractured finger/smashed nail will heal (shut it in a car door, painful and embarrassing).

I can’t wait for the day ...
... my legs catch up to my upper body.
