Green tea, well I think it has been shown to boost the metabolism a bit, but the main reason it is recommended is all the antioxidants. Just read the labels for recommended doseages.
Fish oil, again, it really hasn't got anything to do with vitamin D. Fish oil is rich in the omega 3 fatty acids, and most noteably, in the form of EPA/DHA (do a search on it). Again, read the labels for recommended doing suggestions. I can tell you however, that most cardiologists recommend 1000-3000 mg daily (I've been with my 80 year old father to several cardiologists and they all seem to agree on this),however some heavy sports trainers recommend somewhat over this amount.

I have also really gotten into the Green tea kick and after conducting some research. Looks like you should be taking at least 90mg or more a day which is equivalent to about 8- 10 cups a day drinking it. So if you are looking for the true effects of the supplements you probably want to make sure you are taking the extract. I have also read many time that you cannot take to much of it.
