Dog mom still here
Just want to let everyone know I am still here. Have not worked out in 2 weeks because we are having major construction issues and I have had to be onsite 12-14 hours a day. Didn't want you to think I was just a passerby. I will be back when the literal dust settles.

Re: Dog mom still here
Glad to hear you're around. I'm also present/absent lately, things have gone haywire since Thanksgiving.
Re: Dog mom still here
Body-weight squats using a door frame for support! That is, if you have door frames during construction.

Anyone want to lay odds that she doesn't come back?

Re: Dog mom still here
Are we pointing out DM because she made this thread, because countless folks seem gung ho and then dissapear?
I imagine it could be frustration due to lack of mobility/pain from squatting combined with stalling out on pressing, when she badly wanted to be competive lifting. We hardly know folks though, so I"m really speculating.
Odds are she will not come back. nothing personal, just odds.
also, lack of apparent interst in this thread might deter her, although, who knows how she takes those sort of things. She did not seeme typical "girlish"

I bet she got busy with Christmas and her new business. It was scheduled to open last week. http://www.lapitup.biz/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Did anyone ever start a business? This was huge for me and hit all at once. I lost about 15 lbs and am just now getting my life back (albeit a condensed life). But I will say this forum has much to do with my motivation to get back. I still only have time to eat once a day so I need to work on getting more food in me. I have a dog place that could serve as a gym so for now I am going to try and work with what I have here. I may hang a TRX off one of my walls. Business is going very well, people love their dogs!
Re: Dog mom still here
Welcome back Diane and congrats on your business.

Wait, wait mom! You are back (and we are glad you came back), but are you still training?

Re: Dog mom still here
Well no I have not been to the gym since the last post but I am back here, doesn't that count for something??? Actually I am starting with some things I can do at my business (it is a gym, just for dogs though). My plan is to resume work on getting low in my squat (no leg pain anymore) and doing some TRX. I am a little freaked about going back to the gym I can't beleive what I was lifting prior to my hiatus. Before I do too much I really do have to work on eating more. One chef salad per day is not cutting it.

Yeah, I'll get Oscar good someday. I'm just waiting for the right moment! I don't want to abuse my Admin Powers, at least not too often!
Glad you're back.
