As a former fat kid who also had loose skin/had to fill out, the thing I would recommend the most is consistency in weight training.

To give you some examples on how I transitioned over 3 years of weight training as a natural (I did take a $h1t ton of stimulants/pre-workouts, only thing that kept me going sometimes.).

Me at 315+ lbs:

Me after cutting down to 220ish with only a couple months of weight training under my belt:

Recent pictures of me:

I post these just as kind of a motivator for you - that while it may seem like it takes awhile, and the changes will be subtle over time, if you consistently weight train (and train like you mean it) you will see a huge improvement in the long run.

Also, when you're in the gym - do whatever you have to, to stay motivated - if you have to look at yourself in the mirror because seeing the changes that have happened motivates you - then do it, fv(k anyone who thinks you're conceited, they have no idea where you came from and the work you had to put in to get there.

haha appreciate it - I do my best, I was about 205lbs in that last pic at 5'9". I'm cutting for the summer and would like to be about 210lbs when i finish at that body fat level.

I don't know how people diet down for bodybuilding shows - I don't have the willpower to resist food that long haha.

you're making great progress man, very inspirational.

I'm thinking hopefully by this time next year I'll have reached my lifetime goal of a ripped 200lbs

I just wonder how you lost 100lbs without having much loose skin.... My skin is considerably worse.

He was probably younger than you when he did it and therefore better elasticity. There could be nutritional differences as well, and therefore healthier collagen.

This is my guess, it's gotten better over time. I like to think I've put on considerably more muscle since I started as well.

I'd blame it on my tan.

Also, once you start getting in to lower body fat percentages, you really start to lose a lot of fat on your face - makes your jaw line/cheek bones sharper i feel like.

Nice answer, +1 internet coolness gained.
I was wondering, does the loose skin 'tighten up' over time?
And what if a person looses a lot of weight, but over a long time, has he got less problems with loose skin?
