Re: Convincing my fiancee to lift weights
Truth is, she has to get there when she gets there. I've been married for over 11 years now and learned that nagging isn't the way to achieve ANYTHING!! Man support her in her endeavor and let her know that if she has any questions about anything to feel free to ask. Also when my wife decided she wanted to do INSANITY...well I did it with her and we had a great time man. Also keep working out yourself it will rub off on her! :)

You'll wish she still cared.
I kid... sorta.
Good thing is, if you marry for the right reasons, you'll love her more then either way.
At some point though, if it gets out of hand, you'll start to question how much she cares about you, if she lets herself go. On the other hand, it frees you up to go to Taco Bell 4 times a week and stay at a job you cant stand that causes you undo stress because you've lived a protected life and never faced challenges without your mommy around. But soon you'll be inspired by Peyton Manning leading the Colts to SuperBowl victory and move to Alabama, only to bring your good luck with you as Nick Saban capture 2 National Titles.. Roll TIDE.
ymmv.

I've joked recently that i'm becoming one of those bitter old men you see in a bar who have a beer, a whisky, and mutter (mostly racist) remarks under their breath, to themselves.
I fear it may be true.
Thanks TimD

I just wish I could get my wife to go to the gym period. 2 years after the wedding and 1 year after the baby, I think she has gone TWO times this year. Once was to shower when we had no power and the other was to actually work out. I hope it actually sticks this time around but I'm doubtful.

I just wish she had the same drive that I did.KenDowns wrote:Desire is the root of all suffering.xshawnxearthx wrote:I just wish I could get my wife to go to the gym period. 2 years after the wedding and 1 year after the baby, I think she has gone TWO times this year. my missus loves the gym these days. If she keeps improving at the rate she's going she'll be stronger than me soon
