Is there some kind of world shortage of protein powder

Post by KenDowns » Sat Mar 30, 2013 5:52 pm

I always buy the 5 lb barrels of Now brand isolate, typically 35.00 each, always comes to 50.00/5lb after shipping. Now I'm looking at 50.00 minimum before shipping, and my favorite places I used to buy it at are more like 75.00.

Protein Prices Going Up

Coke came out with a product a while back that required protein.

Gatoraide finally conceded their sugar only based beverages were NOT right. So, they begain purchasing protein for their Gatoraide protein based beverages.

Paying More

The prices have been going up for a while and probably won't come down.

gubment added a 20% VAT tax on almost all nutrition supplements in the UK last year.

Fantastic idea that was, when obesity is our country's primary health concern. Lets make the healthy stuff more expensive...

what's more worrying is the impending bacon shortage...
