a little bit of something
I propose that we each think of something that would benefit ourselves, and do a little bit of it every day. After a couple of months or so we could report back as to whether it helped at all.
Examples could be:
-core work
-rehab stuff
-mobility stuff
-cardio
-groove greasing
Or whatever. I am personally going to do leg lowering exercises to try and fix my anterior pelvic tilt supersetted with prone trap raises for my mid/lower traps.

Sure, I could work on my stability. More accurately Foot and core stability. On foot, I try to work that tripod posture and try to get that foot arch activated. On core stability I work most with antirotation.

Good lad Dub, I could do with that short foot training too, but I'll stick to what I've got.

I'm going to be extremely conscientious of the credit card I use for each purchase. I have 3 that offer 5% cash back in rotating categories each quarter. And 2 that will give me $100 if I spend $500 in the next 3 months.

Sounds to me like if you use those cards enough you'll make money!Oscar_Actuary wrote:I'm going to be extremely conscientious of the credit card I use for each purchase. your whole body is an achilles heel. You have an achilles body. Come on Ozzy, play the game. What about some mobility work?Oscar_Actuary wrote:no, unfortunately.

Re: a little bit of something

Myself doing core and shoulder health stuff
and that's it? Shame on you all!
Andy?
Stu?
Oscar?
Matt?
Hoose?
don't tell me there's nothing you guys wouldn't benefit from spending 5-10 measly minutes a day working on?

getting regular sleep.
Waking up at 7:00-7:30 woudl be the catalyst for so much more
I'm afraid typing it here though does not make it a reality

You're right, Bob.
I'll do 10 min of BW exercise on days I don't find a gym, to guarantee that I do something every day.

We have an ornament DB in the livingroom. It's something like 16KG and just sits in the corner. We do a "WOD" everyday. "WOD" is tongue and cheek / taking the pi$$ out of crossfit.
Also have a ball and a pipe behind the couch for some soft tissue work.
Love having a bachelor pad :D

Re: a little bit of something
Spending less than $800/month on "convenient" food.
Re: a little bit of something
I've changed my target.
Chin-ups. Aiming to go for 100 per week for a couple of weeks. Not next week, since it's deload, but did around 90 last week and so far I've got 44 in the bank this week.
Why? Because I'm tired of sucking at them. I haven't improved in chin-ups for a long time, especially after I gained that 5-7kg of weigth. So, it's time to change things up a notch. Plus, who doesn't want thick lats and bigger biceps?
