ingredients: organic double cream ( has the best flavour! )
method: pour into a watertight container with some of the previous lots butter milk, or some ordinary milk, shake it shake it shake it, past the lumpy yellowish phase till it separates into butter and buttermilk, and can be amalgamated. this takes about 15 to 20 mins continual shaking and is actually a blooming good workout! AND you burn off the calories before you eat them again!!
NO SALT COS IT DOESN'T NEED IT!
you might have to resort to vigourous shaking to get it past the thick stage where it doesnt move with gentle shaking, and a container with lots of room that is easy to hold on to is best when theres not too much in it to make sure you can get the momentum needed to make it quicker. when it starts to thud up and down you are nearly there!
