"split my underwear squatting today." - robertscott

Is that how you gauge depth?

haha, no I use a box for that. It's how I judge intensity.

I was a bit unsure to post here as a beginner... But squating and deadlifting more than my own bodyweight is notable for me... Even though, as a beginner, nearly everything is a personal best, I reached this week:
Squats 82,5 kg
Deadlift 80 kg
Press 40 kg
Bench Press 52,5 kg
Bent-over Row 52,5 kg
(Deadlifts 1x5, the rest 3x5)

Have no doubt. No-one is born great and your own records are the only ones you should be comparing. We are all competing against ourselves here.

Great progress, it shows that you are doing things right!

Yeah. What Dub said.

Your PR is YOUR PR. That's what this is about. We are all working to get better. This thread isn't really about bragging, and people who are big braggers don't fit in here, and don't last long. So feel free to post here, especially when you pass milestones, like round multiples of body weight, or when you reach a goal. Yeah, it would get annoying if people posted every increase, but nobody has done that much. It doesn't have to be a big weight by anyone's standards except yours.

Thanks for your kind words... I will post here again, if I should really reach a multiple of my bodyweight in an exercise.

That's not the only kind of goal you can set. Round numbers, some number of plates (135, 225, 315, etc) or any number that means something to you. Even adding a certain amount is a legit goal. And when I say "multiples of BW" that can mean 0.5, 1, 1.5, etc.
