thanks man, it was actually a bit of a farce. I had to use the $h1t rack with the uneven floor which always makes my knees hurt. I'd planned to hit 105k for 5 and be done but I bailed out of the set after the first rep because I knew I didn't have it in me.Dub wrote:Awesome. Keep up! I actually feel bigger, keep getting told that, too. I've got leaner since my competition in March yet my b/w is literally exactly the same. After my next comp i'm going to really dial things in and try and get significantly leaner, see what happens.
My training partner has gained about 6KG this year, and went from "lean" to "ripped" whilst getting stronger.
He was 74KG beginning of the year and probably as lean as I am now (I think around 10%). He's 80 now and he maintains, "ripped". Actually, he just signed a modelling contract, check this out.

I've trained him since he was a total beginner with a bad leg and unable to flex his knee to 90degrees (squatted 145KG lastnight, PL depth). He's been 100KG with a lot of fat, which we have pics of, too. Then he's been 72-73 KG and painfully skinny, but he was Thai Boxing then. Since then he's been doing a "clean bulk". He's now significantly stronger at 80KG than he was at 100KG, too.
