Re: asprin pre-workout
Aspirin can reduce inflammation so that's likely the response they mention. If your goal is to build muscle and strength, then stay away from Aspirin, etc, as it will likely have a negative impact on your long term success. You need the inflammation so that your body can adapt to it by getting stronger. If you're trying to get a couple more reps to pass a PT test, then taking Aspirin before might help.
Re: asprin pre-workout
How i stay away from aspirin when my goal is building muscle despite of the purpose from aspirin make recovery faster while the fatigue is more in building muscle?
Another thing the book say aspirin reduce tissue swelling and inflammation ,and im with you that i need inflammation to adapt with it then growing but another side i need recovery to training good in next session

Re: asprin pre-workout
If recovery is your goal, then just working out less will do that. That's not very productive, is it? What your real goal is, is to have a positive adaptation from your training. Rushing the recovery by reducing inflammation will reduce the response you're looking for.
Edit: What's the book you're getting this from?

Re: asprin pre-workout
I had a long post written with links and references and then I lost it as I was submitting it. The short version is that Fred Hatfield is a very smart man and one of my heroes but there have been advances since he wrote that book in 2004. Aspirin may be beneficial for old people as it may relieve pain during the workout and they may work harder giving better results overall. That doesn't seem to work for younger people.
Re: asprin pre-workout
First you mean adult and un-adult by older and yonger people
Second Why aspirin binificial for older people and not binificial for younger ?

Re: asprin pre-workout
Sorry, I haven't read the book but I'm familiar with the writer. He's a very smart man.
Re: asprin pre-workout
I don't think that taking aspirin prior to a workout has any benefit at all. A single dose of aspirin has little or no anti-inflammatory effect. You have to take it in fairly large doses consistently over a period of weeks (1-3) to get an anti-inflammatory effect. However, even small doses of aspirin decreases platelet function, and may slight increase the chance of bleeding with minor injuries.
I wouldn't advise using it for this purpose.

Re: asprin pre-workout
I know that aspirin make blood platelet sticker thus decrease it's role but i just want to know every thing about it
Re: asprin pre-workout
Aspirin makes platelets LESS "sticky".
Mohamed, aspirin isn't really relevant to your needs.
