Anybody have any tips on doing front squats without losing your breath? I just starting doing front squats again with a clean grip and I can't breathe during the movement. Evening doing push jerks with light weight feels like it's cutting off my circulation. It's weird because I never had this problem in the past.
You could try differnt grips like using lifting straps on the bar. The problem is you're holding the bar against your throat. At low poundage it might not have bothered you but now it's closing off your airways. You could also substitute loaded step ups, goblet squats or overhead squats.
