it's actually quite impressive.
(Hi all ;) )
Re: Random crap
I wonder (not badly enough to try it) what WD-40 really makes you feel like? Does it feel good? Does it make you really want to do it again? If so, why don't more people do it?

How many years will I have to be a member of this forum before I catch on that when I come to the page, and there are no little yellow flags, it doesn't mean that no one has been posting, but that my logon has expired?

Re: Random crap
My sister had an accident this weekend. She was running in a marathon when she passed out and faceplanted. Her injuries include a broken nose and other facial fractures, plus a chipped tooth.
Re: Random crap
Wow! Sorry to hear that. Does she know why she passed out? I trust that she's getting good care.

I moved out, learned to drive, and met one of those people who smell nice
I've kept up attendance / my routine but it has essentially been a non-progressive 5/3/1 - numbers have hardly changed but I know why... so it's been maintenance really. My office gym is getting revamped Sept 18th which will bring a squat rack in, so I'm going to push for some size/strength when that hits.
I had a quick stab at fat loss, but then things got really hectic so my diet suffered a bit, essentially stopped it before I ended up losing weight but not much fat and, as above, turned it into maintenance.
So - haven't really had the studious side to me in terms of my workouts - still fairly entertained by them, adding some strength to overhead press and bench but not much (squats still poor though).
Good to see randoms still going strong, read about your back though :( sorry to hear

Apparently it was a combination of heat stress and dehydration.

This is the kind of clients I have. In the last 2 months, I have received,
-A couple of whole German Salami's, from Germany (I get a regular supply of these, whenever a client with German routes visits Germany).
-Half of a home made Cheese cake
-Amazon Gift vouchers ([1 million dollars] worth, which is about $80)
-3 Fillet Steaks.
The fillet steaks were especially amusing. Came into the gym to see a refrigerated bag sitting behind reception, with a note on it saying, "To Kenny, from, A Cow".
Also, my clients provide my chalk. I never buy any. When it runs low, clients top it up. Not sure how this came about but it did.
In my world, Meat is an accepted form of Currency.

I mostly get coffee and cheesecake, or wine to pass on to the missus for "keeping [me] in line"

I've done a bit of experimenting with illegal drugs in my time but solvent abuse has never really appealed to me.

A grandchild? Congratulations. I really like those people.RobertB wrote:...met one of those people who smell nice
Re: Random crap
Grandchildren smell nice? I suppose when they don't you just hand them back to the parents.
Re: Random crap
Exactly! Their mothers will clean them, change them, smear them will baby lotion and hand them back to you. Much better that being a parent. In fact, if had only known how nice grandchildren are, I'd have had them first.

I photographed three Chinese Mantids in one small area on Sunday. I even photographed one with my my son holding it.
