To the original question, I certainly feel knee curls in a lower spot than RDLs. However I just spent a few minutes actually feeling the muscles in along both movements - it seems to be a difference in the degree of shortening, that causes them to feel so different?

Jungledoc - I understand, I'm just a little surprised is all. I appreciate your help though, this has made me think twice about all those sorts of stretches. Its just that when I use to have problems with my back, I was told to stretch the back each day, but like you said, the whole view is beginning to change. It makes sense though, when it comes to putting any unnecessary twist or pull on the spine. Thanks again for all your help.
