Healthy Eating Tips
Did you know that the food you eat can have a massive impact on your health, energy and levels and vitality and almost all areas of your life? Here are the top healthy eating tips for you to know:
• Hydrate, drink more water. 1L for every 24kg of body weight
• Eat breakfast! Make time for the most important meal of the day! Gluten free cereal, protein smoothie or eggs
• Eat Vegetables! Important to eat as many different colours as possible and at least include them with lunch and dinner
• Try and limit foods that require packaging, fresh are ALWAYS best.
• Try and eat protein with most meals, it will keep you full for longer so you won’t eat as much. Protein = eggs, meat, chicken, fish, cheese, nuts & seeds
• Choose low GI carbohydrates, GI = Glycemic Index. They will keep you full for longer and cause less blood sugar & energy fluctuations
• Keep portion sizes down by choosing smaller plates and using your hand to measure, palm = protein, 2 handfuls = vegetables, 1 small handful carbohydrates if necessary
• Eat as much variety as possible to ensure you receive nutrients from many different sources
• Eat a 2 pieces of fruit per day including berries for their high antioxidant content.
• Increase good fat in your diet by sprinkling seeds on salads or adding to smoothies, using flaxseed oil as salad dressing, having a small handful of nuts each day and eating more oily fish such as fresh tuna.

you know, I can't really disagree, much
Re: Healthy Eating Tips
This guide provides healthy eating tips :
Eat less meat. In your diet reduce the frequency and the serving-size of red meat portions. Try not to eat meat more than once a day and preferably less often.
Whenever you are going to eat meat, try to select lean cuts and remove all visible fat before eating. Grill the meat rather than fry.
Add more poultry and fish to your meals. Avoid sausage, frankfurters, bologna and other processed meats because they are usually high in fat.
Reduce severely the amount of cream, butter, cream cheese and ice- cream that you consume. Choose semi-skimmed milk or pour off the cream before having it.
Eat only those dairy products, which have low fat such as skimmed milk, cottage cheese and yogurt. Use soft margarines that are high in polyunsaturates.
Restrict the number of eggs to no more than three per week.
Avoid more consumption of commercial biscuits and cakes because these are made with hard fats.
As the cooking oil, use only the recommended oils such as corn, soya, or olive.
For the sake of your teeth, reduce intake of heavily sweetened foods such as sweets and biscuits.
Eat some fresh fruits every day. And if possible eat fruits at or after every meal.
Eat more vegetables, particularly peas and beans - fresh or dried - because they are a very good low-fat source of protein.
Eat wholemeal bread as your staple food. Eat wholemeal breakfast cereals. Take extra bran if the rest of your daily diet is rather refined.

Re: Healthy Eating Tips
I expected a much angrier response from you Stu, notice he recommends only using corn or soya oil, removing the fat from meat, choosing only low fat milk and eating "wholemeal bread as your staple food"?
you've obviously softened your stance

I could write an article on everyone of his recommendations but I don't have time for it.robertscott wrote:I expected a much angrier response from you Stu, notice he recommends only using corn or soya oil, removing the fat from meat, choosing only low fat milk and eating "wholemeal bread as your staple food"?

Re: Healthy Eating Tips
The first line, "Eat less meat. In your diet reduce the frequency and the serving-size of red meat portions." appears 338 times in Google. It's just an article that's been repeated over and over as filler for a lot of sites. It still doesn't explain why these spammers keep posting that kind of stuff here. I can't imagine anyone getting royalties from it.

It's because they want to drop a link in, but it won't let them.

So they're just wasting time. good.

I tell them that when they sign up. They apparently think I'm bluffing.

Of course the food you eat plays a major impart on your health and well being. You must avoid excess carbohydrate, less sugar, more of bitter foods and take a balanced diet always. This will help you retain the natural health and stature that you have.
