Wish List
I've been asked for a wish list for Christmas gifts. I can think of lots of things in other categories, but in fitness, I can't come up with much that fits these requirements: $10-$50 price range, relatively light, relatively small size for shipping from the US to PNG. Ideas?
I did think about tension bands. What strength should I want for my first set?

Re: Wish List
Start with medium.
I'm asking for a rumble roller. I've gotten to where I really like my Spud deadlift belt. A new pair of Chucky Ts.

....
eggs?
ooohh...what about some hand grippers, you know, the ones that take like 300lbs to close.
Maybe you can get a good quality pair for that price!

Re: Wish List
na I wouldn't bother with the grippers. I bought some and they have ZERO carryover to deadlift strength.
what about things like wrist wraps, knee supports etc. You're no spring chicken Andy

These are the bands I bought. http://www.liftinglarge.com/kb19-LightPackage.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I use all 3 sizes for different things.
They're on sale right now too. They also have deadlift slippers that you might like.

Re: Wish List
I'd like a a variety of handles for my lat pull down / low pull station.
Maybe you could ask for those?

I have reason to believe that Santa Clause is trying to order these. If only he had a more reliable connection!stuward wrote:These are the bands I bought. http://www.liftinglarge.com/kb19-LightPackage.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Wish List
This is what I want for Christmas. Of course I'll have to build them myself.

A couple of those joints must be welded, not threaded!

Re: Wish List
I don't weld so mine will be threaded. On the other hand, my daughter's boyfriend is a pipe fitter. Hmmm...

..no... no, I won'tstuward wrote:On the other hand, my daughter's boyfriend is a pipe fitter. Hmmm...
that one is too easy
Re: Wish List
That's in impossible build all threaded, if they are all right-handed threads! I'm not aware of left-handed pipe threads, but it might be possible.stuward wrote:I don't weld so mine will be threaded. On the other hand, my daughter's boyfriend is a pipe fitter. Hmmm...
