2. The putz factor in my new gym suck.
3. Theraputic use does not include HRT in the IPF

Re: What I learned in 2011
Lifting consistantly with intensity is easier to do than changing a crappy diet for the long term
I actually can lose substantial weight through careful selection (less sugar and real food, mainly)
Losing weight too quickly kills strength
I have will power
Exercising will power is it's own reward
I can't front squat
OH Pressing is doing wonders for my bumb right shoulder after years of babying it
Home gyms are worth every penny
I had/ve plenty to learn
Videos with dogs and babies together keep me amused for way too long

Excessive tricep isolation isn't just great for body builders
Stick to a set of goals (don't see-saw cut/bulk)
Finishing isn't enough - work until tired
For the love of god... eat... eaaatttt!!!! - dont stop

I learned the joy of being a grandpa. I learned some things about training, too, but they aren't nearly as important.

Yah Doc, but what if i'm interested also in what you learned about training? Not to discount your blessing, but this is a training forum and you got a lot to offer.
Re: What I learned in 2011
Ah, training.
1. I learned that a lot of volume on heavy lifts kills me. Partly and age thing, so not totally unrelated to the grandpa thing.
2. I learned that I can't progress equally well on all lifts at the same time.
3. I learned that in order to get stronger I have to spend more of my training time lifting heavier weights than I used to lift.
4. I'm learning that the key to training for me is figuring out how to reconcile all of the above.
